I'm not sure if you are from a music background or you are just an enthusiastic listener, however I consider the points you have outlined in your review not very convincing. Biret has a highly intellectual side in her playing which in many cases remains controversial to the interpretations that we are accustomed to hear. Personally, I find this quite uplifting because in this music industry which has a lot and a lot of mediocre pianists who are presented as 'world class', Biret is doing something very individual, wheather you like it or not is a question, but she still exists in a legendary way.I do think it will take time for everyone to assimilate all these recordings. I hope next time you write your review, you will avoid judgments that are full of personal taste- which I think while reading a review is the least interesting part, but instead try to understand what an artist is willing to say through music and construct an argument, a full knowledge of musical texts will be helpful in this task.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11934038306457014304noreply@blogger.com
